This bag is 100% manufactured from PLA(Polylactic Acid), obtained from corn starch, which is specially cultivated for industrial purposes and is not suitable for human consumption. This bag does not contain any petroleum-derived polymer.
Unibag has the IDIEM report(Univ. Chile Lab) which accredits the manufacturing of this bag as being 100% made with PLA.

This bag is the most environmentally friendly, as it:

  • Can be used between 150 and 200 times.
  • Is compostable in 180 days in industrial composting plants.
  • Is biodegradable.

Elaboration and Design

The ultrasound-sealed seamless elaboration ensures greater strength and delivers a better appearance for the bag. The handles are reinforced. They possess the IDIEM report (Univ. De Chile Laboratory) demonstrating that they hold up to 20 Kg, depending on the size and weight of the fabric.

We have a post-consumption recovery program in place for reusable plant-based bags and envelopes.
